BREAD DAY : Sunday 25 July 2010
Join us at Loggerheads for a day to celebrate the great loaf. We are using the ancient festival of Lammas as an excuse to do this. A traditional element of the summer Lammas festival was to bake a loaf with the first grain of the new harvest. There is not much wheat for bread making grown around here and the harvest is later that it used to be but we will be using wheat milled at the Rossett water mill.
Lots of interesting breads on our menu and for sale
